    Kelly had the guy 0-2. A good reliever should get a swing and miss with that count. Instead, lets him work the count, and make some good contact.

    Kenley was supposed to be the guy who aged well because he didn't rely on velocity but he's tanking into an ordinary reliever quickly. Gonna have to figure something out. We couldn't win when he was the best in baseball, let alone now...with even less of a supporting cast.

    Imo, it was an emotional signing by the FO as a result of his mastery of us. What did he have in his resume really that merited that money and contract ?

    Kenley must suck. He gave up a HR to Yelich.

    Man, I wish we had a closer with an ERA under 3, a WHIP under 1, a 6:1 K to BB ratio, and perfect on converting save opportunities. Oh wait, we do.

    Kenley's bottom line looks fine but his stuff and command looks noticeably different and I dont have a lot of confidence in him moving forward. There was a time when dudes just could not touch that cutter. Now, he throws a few BP cutters every appearance. He looks like he's laboring all the time. He is still good, but he is no longer the best in the business. An unfair bar to set and expect, I suppose. But we are trying to win a WS and this bullpen does not give me tons of faith. Used to only be the 7th-8th inning we had to worry about. Now I feel like I'm worried 6-9 (no homo).
