Well, according to Davey, Bellinger is just the victim of bad luck. And I'm starting to come around to this explanation. Did you see how unlucky he's been on all those swings and misses recently?

I don't even try to unravel Dave's logic anymore...a fool's errand. But, after watching Cody struggling so mightily and so excruciatingly feeble looking, I have to admit, I feel sorry for him. I've cursed him along with everyone else...and my heart sinks when he comes up to the plate and sooo predictably ends a rally, but the kid must be one tormented soul every day. As I posted previously, you'd think the law of averages would come into play at some damn point, but it just rages on relentlessly.
I really think these bullpen games have run their course...I guess there's nothing else to be done, but damn, it all seems like desperate measures to me...
A necessary evil at this point. Amazing how well they've pitched in these games. Nice to see JT get his pop back.
Rockies closer is trying to Kenley their one-run lead in the 9th. Walked the first Gnat batter on 4 pitches.
