i wanted to like them and a lot of my friends did i'm guessing because they had some commercial success Bauhaus never had just always seemed like they were covering songs and styles to me if you knew who Peter Murphy was at the time you were in the 1% of music fans because they were basically a strange secret Ash did have the cool Simon Gallup hair going though!
I know a dude who grew up listening to leo sayer type of music. Made me think thay maybe deep down he wasn't as bad guy because of the sad music he listened to. Like I had hope he would change. He has a rep as a squeaky clean goody two shoes. A carefully crafted rep filled with friends that will vouch for his character. I loved his father. His father died this morning. Conveniently and quietly made out if sight thanks to the protocols of the elders of covid. Now he has nobody to protect him. Because friends flee when you in danger. And if you fucked over your family you gonna wish boulders would fall from the sky and break your face so nobody can look you in the eye. Because we don't know any lawyers.
those aren’t friends those are acquaintances who are using you to get something they want real friends don’t bail
honestly my family is huge and they are blood but not friends too much judgement and familiarity breeds contempt i don't have issues w them or their lives at all but many times feel a seething thing that borders on hatred yet they always seem to want to smile, hug and pretend like they don't i loathe that
Wrapping up a week on the big island with my wife and kids... a long needed vacation that was put off a couple years due to the pandemic. Anyhow, when I was at the rental car counter the lady told me that gas here averages $5.59. I was shocked, since I pay over $7 at home for diesel (and that's even lower than my friends who are in the heart of the Bay Area). I expressed my surprise - said I always thought Hawaii had the highest gas prices in the country. She said it used to be, but California passed them a couple years ago. Do liberals not see what the political leaders in California are doing to our economy? Do they not get that Pelosi, Feinstein, and Newsom's net worths have ballooned while they've been in office? Sure, many of them drive EV's and may not GAF, but gas price gouging is not the only negative effect of years of democrat control of this state. Crime, homelessness... I can go on and on but I guess it's okay because at least our state has made great strides in recognizing transgender youth. I just don't get it. I'm sure Newsom will win in a landslide again this Nov. Will the "woke" ever actually wake up?
