      Keith Law ESPN Senile Writer
"Due to concerns about the health of Kenta Maeda’ arm, this winter the Dodgers signed him to a surprisingly cheap eight-year, $25 million deal, with incentives that could boost his salary to up to $12 million a year. If he stays healthy, he'll be well worth the investment as long as he's even an adequate back-of-the-rotation starter. What he showed Thursday makes him look like an adequate back-of-the-rotation starter, but nothing more..."

Did anyone else read the "Insider" article?

how does 5 scoreless innings equate to no better than a back of rotation starter?
three hits, two bbs and 5 k's
granted i haven't watched the outings, but if law is going to make an assertion like this he should at least back it up

Must be a Keith thing...today, Keith Hernandez said "the Dodgers have taken a step back, definitely with the loss of ________ ___________ ( not allowed to write the name; too upsetting for certain individuals here), and the Giants look like the team to beat in the NLW".
Same thing John Smoltz said. Oh and Harold Reynolds. But he sucks anyway, right? How about the other two?
What's wrong with these ex-ballplayers? WTF do they know?

    Dodger haters..

    There's lots of them.
Their own local team sucks sweaty ball sacks
So they recall faded images of Steve Garvey's arrogance
and hate the Dodgers for life.

Fyouk would pipe in and remind us accurately that there are more Yankee haters (arguably justified) but there are still plenty of Dodger haters too.

No doubt there are Dodger haters...but they could be just doing the analyst thing, and that's what they actually think. I don't know if Smoltz hates the Dodgers ( or the other ones in fact), and LA comes up short without the unnamed one still part of the team. At least for them.

It is confusing to me, actually, how Stephen Tyler fathered a female with that face...imo, really gorgeous. Of course thete is also Klaus Kinski and Natasha,
Howard Stern and his daughters, etc. But Tyler is very ugly dude.
Also, don't know if Liv is Photoshopped there ,but there is no shortage of her getting naked crazy a whole lot.
Praise Allah that theses dudes are rich, and can nail the hot wives...
Like Craig there...not exactly the handsomest dude, but the wife is smokin'....

    Bump time.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-b...anding-spots-for-tim-lincecum-192257516.html#

You can't make this shit up.

The most anticipated pitching performance of the season will take place Friday. Shockingly, it doesn't involve Jake Arrieta, Clayton Kershaw or Noah Syndergaard. In fact, it involves a player who has posted a 4.68 ERA over the past four seasons. Former San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum will hold his showcase Friday, and scouts from at least 20 teams are expected to attend.

Now I don't know about you, but personally I anticipated Maeda's first start a lot more than Timmeh's. A couple of other guys who started new seasons for new teams come to mind too...ya'know...like maybe Grienke, or Cueto, or even Chen. Lincecum? Fuck that shit, I'll catch it on ESPN later. Maybe.

    Here's another gem:

Picturing Lincecum in Dodgers blue probably sends a chill down the spine of Giants fans, but it seems plausible.

Giants fans? It could positively give Dodger fans fucking nightmares, of the Freddy Krueger variety, scar them for life. What a hack this guy is.

Giants fans would be laughing their asses off if we signed him. And I wouldn't blame them.

Well it wouldn't be their fault if our idiot 'brain trust' signed Timmeh but... I'd still blame them.

After all they're still vaGiant fans so they deserve any and all wrath we can muster
