Is this "up in the zone" strategy with the Dodgers something new? Where Grandal constantly calls for the ball up and our guys either miss the zone entirely or give up a HR. Could be my selective memory but it seems like a thing.
On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if us getting caught/other teams switching it up was a factor in our bats going belly up all of a sudden..
In the matter of one season, he has taken his contract up from horrendous overpay territory to the Diamondbacks will have received basically market value performance through his first two years. Fucking unbelieveable... fuck Hall for his last second epiphany to steal him away from us. My guess is his 2016 would not have been nearly as bad as it was and we are looking at an underpay through his first 2 seasons.... and probably a motherfucking world series title.
He does it to fuck with the fans that talk shit to him about him jinxing guys for saying anything. That is why he does it.
I like Joe Davis. His voice is cookie cutter but you can tell he enjoys his job and mixes old with new.
OMG, Forsythe swung at a first pitch!!! It was a fastball right down the middle that he missed, but at least he swung at it. Baby steps I guess.
