thanks for passing on Brusdar dead sox
Baez working on the cambio is awesome.... but put the fucking game away already bkitch!
5-2 feels pretty good, but 6-1 would've felt a lot better.
An accident waiting to happen.
I'd be satisfied with solid contact from the reigning MVP.
He does things effortlessly. So smooth in the field.
Missed the game but watched the recap. Nice to see. Win a couple more games and we’ll clinch a playoff spot.
All jokes aside, I wonder if Corey’s gonna be traded this offseason. Seems like something that this front office would do with Lux waiting in the wings and Buehler and Bellinger about to get paid.
Concerning most to me is the total ( almost) absence of Bellinger and Taylor offensively.
Absolute minimal contribution.
Bellinger especially in his lineup spot is killer.
I was thinking the same thing the other day. A big season from him and could very much see the FO using it as leverage to move him. His medical history likely means he is not long destined for SS and unless the power suddenly kicks into overdrive, he has not yet displayed the kind of power you want at the corner. Doesn't help that Boras is his agent either. Hoese and Busch are on the alt site team and how they look could ultimately impact the clubs decision, but doubtful we will hear all that much.
Random tidbit from last night was Kelly was back up to 99 MPH. I was a bit worried as everything I had seen so far was 96ish
They got Jeter Downs, so they probably aren't crying about it just yet, but getting the immediate impact of Graterol is definitely a win for our side.
I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but it doesn't really fit our FO's MO to trade major league established talent on the upswing. The only example that I can think of is Verdugo. They've let people walk, and they've traded stagnant or downswing talent (Kemp, AGon, Puig, Joc*, etc..), but if Seager continues on his tear I think he is on the roster in 2021. There are infield openings at 2B and 3B, we aren't particularly deep in major league experienced infield talent for 2021.
The insane run Cody had in the first half last season has led to false expectations of him imo. Much closer to a .250 hitter with good pop than a .300 hitter. Really good player but he’s never been a guy I feel confident in at the plate in a big spot...JT/Muncy bring me a lot more confidence.
Certainly a good sign but velocity doesn't mean much when you don't where the fuck the ball is going.

Dodgers players are wearing masks. First time that I can remember.
