Also, not a fan of throwing Urias 1 inning in 14 days and then giving him a start in the big leagues when his command was already shitty. He should be in AAA and not here right now.
I hate watching Urias pitch. He's simply not ready. Which isn't an insult. He just isn't. And he is NOT suited for the bullpen. That will be a disaster.
It's rare that Urias has an inning where he throws less than 20 pitches. Kid is far from ready, but not much you can do when every starting pitcher gets hurt.
We need to score 6 runs to win any Urias start. Such poor command, even with his fastball. He's 19 years old. Don't eff this up, Dodgers.
It sucks to have our hitters doing a really good job against Strasburg but knowing we have no chance because we have a freaking teenager pitching.
I don't think him a poor player or anything, but Taylor needs a quicker release and stronger throw over on guys like that Nat burner...that run shouldn't have scored, imo. Gotta know who is running.
Batters just wait for him to make a mistake and currently he seems to make more than one per batter. He needs to go back to AAA and try to refine what he has learned at this level. Having 3 plus pitches will help you beat up the MiLB ranks, but pros will make you locate those pitches. Hopefully he can capitalize on this experience and come back a much better pitcher. The bullshit I have been seeing are a couple guys saying that this shows he's not as good as others have ranked him and he's a #2 at best, but more likely a #3. Most 19 year old lefty power arms are mulling there way around HiA right now.
