    .......and quit trotting out pitchers to start game who have little chance of pitching five innings because of ridiculous pitch count limits.

    Killed the pen on the eve of a three game series in St. Louis where the weather is predicted to be over 95 degrees each day (who knows what the humidity will be).

    My bitching aside, two of three (and five of six total) vs. the Nationals is good stuff. Another 2 of 3 vs. the Cards would be outstanding.

    Except for denying pitchers wins and potential no-no's yeah, he's been a good glue guy.

    He got props from me when he FINALLY went out and got run for calling an UMP a POS for his fucked up calls.
