Damn, you're just fuckin' obtuse. Not sure what I've rubbed your nose in? It's the EXACT situation where you called me ignorant...don't you see that? I just returned the favor. Has nothing to do with me responding in other threads. But I guess you're the type that has to feel superior. Good luck with that.
Like 3/4 of the arguments on this board aren't even worth arguing or using statistics to back up your statement.
that was pretty cute, but you clearly don't know what " majority " means. when i'm on DSP talking Russell Martin, Victor Martinez, Max Scherzer, Jon Lester, etc. for a good portion of the time and wondering how the team will be contructed after this year it's because i'm concerned with the Dodgers. before this year, we all figured the DBags would be the team chasing..point is you never quite know who'll be the team giving chase, but you do know that the Dodgers can be better.
none that i can think of. however, you may be implying (wrongly) that it " flies in the face of " our argument about Puig that you haven't responded to..to which i'd repeat, it doesn't take 3.
Well surely if 3 coaches are in his face it's triple the respect, right? And if all 3 had ignored him as you wished, then he should have been very worried, no? Make up your mind.
or triple the headache for somebody that's already frustrated and somebody who the manager has admitted to the media is indeed " frustrated ".
Well make up your mind, do you want the coaches showing concern so he'll know that they think he can do better or do want them to ignore him so he'll wonder if he's in trouble? Well....we're waiting...
Just watched the HanRam shot on video just now and he looked like he was having leg pain then so I guess that's why he's out AGAIN. He's going to take a public relations hit something awful if he asks for a 7 year 100 million plus deal this off-season. I'm afraid we'll be watching him in a Dodger uniform for the last time. No way we re-sign him unless it's an incentive laden deal.
I see. So when you said "but you're in OK standing when your coach is riding you..because most times it means he actually believes you're better than you're playing. it's when your coach ignores you..that's when you worry." ...that was just bullshit that fell out of your mouth? I believe this is what you call "back pedaling".
supposedly Hanley's a late addition to the lineup and he's in tonight..that was like an hour ago though
no, you don't see. my response in Puig's case still stands and you don't need anymore than that..especially in an instance where you're just tryin to troll, get a rise and nothing more. throwing out the term " backpedal " won't work either. btw, " backpedal " is one word, genius. Lol
Yeah, that's the way I see it. Unless there is a major disturbance in the force I don't see the GuggenGods going to the hip for another starter. They'll go with Kershaw, Grienke, Ryu, and whatever else sticks. No Martin because (a) he's going to regress, everyone knows it (b) he burned his bridges with the Dodgers when he admitted he dogged it his last season, the fans won't forget, and (c) he's gonna get WAYYYYYYYYY overpaid. And of course Ramirez is 50/50 because he's (in Koufax's words) 'brittle'. Even if he plays every game the rest of the year he's gonna average a little over 100/season for the last two years. How much are you going to pay for that, and for how many years? If he would (and I doubt it) take a big deal heavily dependent on incentives then I could see a deal, but the facts are we have too many options in the infield to risk a big money deal on Hanley only for him to sit in the training room. Yep, that's the way I saw it a few days back...
