The 1st game after a roadie seems to bite us in the ass. Not sure about the record but it can't be good.
Nice debut for De Leon. One meatball to Solarte and his own throwing error were about the only blemishes on his resume' today. Must deceptively fast because the Pads seemed to be behind a lot of his stuff. Loved how he mixed in the change later in the game. Nice day at the plate for Puig. Hopefully he helps them turn it around against scrub lefties.
Deceptive/smooth delivery, nice and easy, hides the ball well. It's a joy to watch him pitch. Easy debut compared to their approach with Julio, but JDL did his thing..one, maybe 2 more starts in him. Absolutely what they need from Puig, meaningful production
Facing 2 righties coming up so we'll see if he can sit for 2 days and how he will respond at the plate. Reddick has a chance to shine.
Be curious to see if Roberts cherry picks some righties for Puig to face or if he and Reddick are strictly platooning.
Like today it'll be situational I believe but it's nice to see a glimmer of hope for those 2 players.
