i agree w lyons that ellis could have tried to turn that. have seen him puss out a lot when the runner is coming in.
Just lets the game get further and further out of reach. I mean, why now Hillman? Why now man? Why? Answer me you fucking POS! You ugly fucking loser! Why the fuck now!? Fucking idiot. He gave up how many hits this inning? Got 1 out on a fucking pick off. And NOW it is time to bring him out? What about when the bases were loaded and the game was still winnable you POS! Fucking garbage.
I dont blame him, he nearly got his fucking leg chopped off from that shit. Impossible to even imagine how hard it is to mentally move on from that.
he needs to get over it. there was a game a few games back where two runners were called safe cause he pulled his foot early.
We just need to win 2 out of 3 and it'll be all on us to take care of the VaGiants. I believe SD has won 7 of 10 too
ATL is tough. The Dodgers didn't turn from WS Champs to Chumps in the last few hours or anything lol, that's not what I meant. Just saying we had such a great chance to keep the foot on the gas and our pitching implodes. All of a sudden it's back to 1/2 game and the Vagiants have a favorable schedule. We put ourselves in a situation where we have to play some serious ball. Tough to waste the offense.
Nah, I understand. I'm frustrated too because the offense performed well again and 1 guy really cost us today. Giving up 8 ER is just sickening, but at the end of the day, we took 3 out of 4 at Pittsburgh which is a big success. I just don't like Blanton in the rotation going forward, but hopefully he turns it around. I'd be surprised if SF swept SD
We just have too many players that are unbelievably below average at what they do. That'll change in the future
