Oh boy, this will be tough. Let's see if my prediction is true. We play better against good teams with good pitching(minus the Cardinal series). No poll? ...I'll go 2-2.
I'll go for a split too...will be interesting to play in PNC with more than two fans and a lost senior citizen in the stands.
You know we have a number of new guys still trying to settle in to the club and trying to coordinate their families and decisions there. School is starting and if players expect to be here next season decisions might need to be made. I am thinking Hanley might be about to explode. The Marlin announcers were very complementary of him by the last game amd said he was swinging like the old Hanley. He was hitting well in a ball park that was not his favorite as a Marlin. He saw his family for the first time since the tradeDBB and Mota have been working with him on compacting his swing and evidently He is like Kemp and a few others a very willing pupil with our staff. We know Shane loves Lopes and is happy to be back with him and could probably spend his remaining career with him if allowed.

Having three lefties in a row makes the LOOGY for the Pirates much more effective. If you break them up, you either force a LOOGY to face a righty, or for them to burn two in an inning.
