    Taylor is in the lineup again today. Roberts is giving him plenty of opportunity to show he belongs which I don't have an issue with, but I just hope at some point soon if he continues to fail to capitalize, we optimize the roster and that may be without him on it.

    I mean is CT really better than Peralta against lefties? I haven't looked at the numbers, maybe he is.

    taylor 2023 vs lhp: .204/.314/.485
    peralta 2023 vs lhp: .370/.393/.407

    taylor career vs lhp: .248/.332/.445
    peralta career vs lhp: .242/.304/.363

    career wise it's a pick em
    and in fairness peralta's 2023 is based on 28 plate appearances, taylor 121
    taylor also has 8 hr vs lhp, hence the much higher slugging
    getting tired of ct3, but i also get him getting the start
    day game after an evening game so peralta could use a rest
    i've always liked taylor but he needs to turn things around quickly
    he's well behind the other rh utility options (kiké, rosario) and if the post started today, you'd have to leave him off the roster

    As much sense as it makes its hard to envision the team not having him on the playoff roster
