    The way Dee and Dre are going right now the cost of Fielder would have been worth it at the going rate. Capuano and Harang seem solid in the rotation and right now Ellis and Sellers are looking like middle infielders to complement.

    what we offered him was a nice deal that i would have been ok with. 160 i think. maybe a little more. cant remember. even had an opt out

    Besides the 3 homers, I wouldn't say Rivera has 'played very nicely' this spring.
