    yeah that sounds about right. I think the Yankees pitching could be tired by the time of the World Series. Great lineup though. But I think they have a bigger chance of slumping compared to Houston

    You’d think they’d have to. Would make no sense to have Verlander and Cole for game 5, those guys aren’t good for piggy backing and not like you needa pinch hit for them.

    I was thinking the same thing.

    The Dodgers would do this when they had both Kershaw and Greinke dominating. It really has more to do with your #2 pitcher, and getting him that second start.

    I remember Brandon McCarthy saying on twitter that pitching on short rest hurts you more long term than it hampers your ability the day of. Wouldn’t be mad seeing those two guys have to pitch twice in this series.

    Definitely.

    Although, it's only short rest for Verlander, and I wouldn't assume the same universe rules apply to Brandon McCarthy and Verlander.
