He's inconsistent in his defensive effort and his jump shot range is streaky, but he can hit jump shots and has improved his numbers there by a pretty good margin this year. He has the talent to defend and it flashes now again, but is still figuring out how to bring it over an 82 game season..PF is a tough spot in general with all the banging and having to step out on the perimeter as well as protect the basket, lots of ground to cover night in and night out and lots of pounding for a youngster, especially given his Draymond-ish role offensively. Make no mistake, even with some of the inconsistencies he's doing the most out there, and Luke says nobody works harder - which is what you want from your star, so if he does end up being a star he'll set a good example for others.

Not racist at all. Specially since it is true. What he also just said in a roundabout way is that black guys are better at basketball. When the PC police was on the other foot it would be racist for a white guy to say that blacks were naturally better at basketball because they are faster stronger and jump higher. And the asterisk proves the rule. Just because you can find in the modern game an example or two of a team with 3 white guys winning a championship does not mean that what Ball said is not true. Problem is with this and with so much of what is in the news is that the media has trained the viewer to equate facts with truth. Ball was not correct factually. But his statement was 100% TRUE.
