I want to keep Randall till the allstar break. If he can produce from the bench he can be traded for a bigger asset. If Laker MGT is smart, they play Randall in the starting 5 to get his trade value up then trade him and go with Nance moving forward.

They want to win though. To attract FA next year. They want to look good and play good.
They dont want to tank, they get no pick this year.
Tough getting anything better than Bledsoe for Randall.
In fact we should be giddy to get even that at this point.

I duno......the minute that tweet went out his trade value plummeted. Id love to send Deng and Hart for Bledsoe, but his trade value might not be that low.....yet..... In all seriousness, I get the feeling that Randall is not in P&G plans going forward so if they can get something for him then MGT needs to do it. So Deng/Randall for Bledose might be the best deal out there.

PHX wont need to take back Deng.
Bledsoe price has bottomed but not that much.

Fultz has a shoulder problem. I’m glad we did not pick him.

Just like LAL wasn't trading D'angelo.
    Let's just see what happens.
In no way am I predicting they will, but to say that they won't..we've been down that road.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Brandon Ingram said Lonzo Ball and the Los Angeles Lakers did not take kindly to Marcin Gortat's tweet about how John Wall "will torture" the rookie point guard when the Washington Wizards visit L.A. on Wednesday.

"Yeah, of course we did," Ingram said when asked if he saw Gortat's tweet on Monday. "Everyone has social media, definitely saw it. The competitor in Lonzo, of course he didn't take it so well and, with his teammates behind him, we didn't take it so well."

The unflappable and low-key Lonzo Ball said, "I don't pay no mind to it" when asked about what Gortat tweeted.

"I already know my teammates have my back," Ball added. "So we're going to go out there, we're going to play and hopefully get a win."

That Ball is forced to react to something someone else is saying about him following a comment made by his father is nothing new for the Lakers point guard. He had said coming into the season that he felt there would be a target on his back because of all the attention surrounding him, mostly generated by the outspoken elder Ball.

"That's how I grew up, so that's normal for me," Ball said.

Gortat's opinion of the Ball family dynamic may not be held by all the Wizards, as Washington coach Scott Brooks said he appreciated LaVar's parenting.

"You know what, hey, people talk about [Lonzo's] dad all the time. Hey, I mean, my father left me at 2. I would love to have my father around like [LaVar] is around and talk to him and pump me up with confidence," Brooks said, according to The Washington Post. "To me, that's every son's dream. And for some reason he gets criticized. No question, he's a little ambitious at times [with] what he says. But he's around his son. I have no problem with that. And maybe he could temper it a little bit, but I would've loved to have my father do that."

Nice to see..now go out and be competitive again tomorrow, back it up with inspiring play.
Pretty solid take by Scott Brooks as well.

Ingram....baffling. Looks so good one game, looks horrible the next, and back to good.

I hope Ball takes over in overtime. The Dodger game left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Magic turned up and they flipped the switch! STFU Wall!!! Ball showed a lot of maturity standing there like a statue.

    Great win!
