Add Bazemore and Ryan Anderson DLo/JC/Ingram/JR/Whiteside/Lou/Bazemore/Nance/Anderson/T.Maker/Bass/MWP/Huertas
Anderson gonna get paid. Not worth the investment. And will be paid to be a starter somewhere. On this team he would have brandon bass status. And we already had bass who was way overqualified for that role. Bass should look to sign elsewhere for that matter. With randle and nance plus sometimes ingram and mwp the pf spot will be well occupied. Bazemore is nice though.
Anderson is gonna play wherever they pay him the most and the Lakers have to spend to the cap floor regardless, doing it on quality players should be the goal, worry about the role after securing the players. No team in the west that's playing a bunch of 2nd year players and a rookie is sniffing Ws, finding an efficient 25 minutes for a Ryan Anderson helps a winning cause, no different than adding Bazemore
Do you remember? Do you remember that Payton and Malone couldn't/wouldn't play "D"? Do you remember that they complained about their scoring averages dropping... because there was only a single ball? Well Detroit remembers son
LAL hitting them outta the park this off-season so far, another HR here, thank yeezus. Love Magic, but the guy is an embarrassment with all his silly comments, well deserved stiff arm. He can continue to mentor DLo tho. ------------------ http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/la-sp-lakers-magic-johnson-20160611-snap-story.html Magic Johnson has Lakers rescind his ceremonial vice president title Magic Johnson, an unpaid Lakers vice president for several years, had his ceremonial title removed by the Lakers, the team announced Saturday. Johnson is often critical of the Lakers and other teams on his Twitter feed. The franchise appeared to want to create distance from his wide-ranging opinions to eliminate conflict-of-interest issues, among other things. "Earvin will always be a revered and beloved member of the Lakers family, but he does not have a position or role with the organization at this time," Lakers publicist John Black said in a statement released by the team. "He is not an advisor or a consultant, and his opinions, comments and social media posts are solely his, and do not represent or reflect those of Lakers ownership or management. Hopefully this will eliminate any confusion over this issue in the future."
Draft in 9 days and free agency a week after that, business about to pick up quickly. Funny lil 2K vid with a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense, simulated, but I think that 1st year would be about right provided they score a couple quality free agents like Whiteside and Bazemore ( plus Ingram and a solid pick @ #32), double the win total + 2 or 3 and sort of be in the picture for the 8th seed like Utah was all year, likely come up short as well
Brandon Ingram got the juice tbh https://www.instagram.com/p/BGqGQWpICwa/?taken-by=houseofhighlights&hl=en
http://www.silverscreenandroll.com/...arent-interested-in-trading-for-jahlil-okafor Obviously. Who wants a center that won't have a positive impact defensively?
We're in a win win on this one I like Ingram and looking elsewhere for a 5 with young legs to bolster Randle and holding onto Russell as young PG talent is rare Nowhere to go but up
