    Cooper said the same thing about Bird.

    "Larry Bird was the toughest player to guard. With Michael, I didn't have to worry about him much when he didn't have the ball. He was a scorer. If he didn't have the ball, I had less to do. But with Larry, he did the little things that made you keep an eye on him at all times. He'd make a great pass, or he'd go for a ball out of bounds and save it. That would lead to one of the Celtics grabbing it, passing it, and they'd end up scoring."

    He also told us that Pat Riley knew every little detail about the game. Said Riley would go to a specific spot on the court and tell you the exact shooting percentage of whoever they were playing.
