    finally, somebody's comin over to my side. lefty or not, starting SVS at all in the playoffs shouldn't be an option. he does not belong in the outfield.

    Have you seen the numbers SVS has against lefties this year? Even in CC's best year against lefties he's not close to that. And defense+base running doesn't close that gap

    smh. and thanks to our mediocrity against mediocre teams, we have no room for error. if we lose a Greinke or Kershaw start, the world ends.

    1yr of SVS plate appearances is what you're goin on and not even 1yr. how many ABs is that? 150 give or take?

    He's hitting .286 vs lefties. Not all that spectacular. Meanwhile Crawford has like 60 AB's vs lefties.

    not even 150 plate appearances against lefties for SVS this year. the number is 119.

    he's got 221 in his career and his average .250

    119 this year which is more then the 59 from CC this year that has ppl saying he's good against lefties

    And going with career it's an .869 OPS for SVS compared to .685 for CC

    So you wanna say its too small a sample size this year, then CCs is much smaller

    You wanna go off career, SVS still better
