    if this team didn't know they'd likely have to score 5 or 6 runs to even stay in this game, then a sweep is exactly what they need because they need to wake the fuck up, get mad..something.

    I haven't checked this to make sure it's true, it seems too good to be true lol, but a beat writer on twitter said that if the Dodgers lose it'd be the first time they get swept all year and first time they lose 3 in a row since like May

    Yep. Unless you count the Detroit mini-series that never happened, the Dodgers are the only team to not be swept this season.

    Pretty incredible. This team has been different then most which has maybe led to a weird perception. They don't go on crazy hot tears (well, there was that 6 game win streak or something), but they don't go on huge slumps. So they win most series, and lose a few as well but yeah.

    It's because of Kershaw. The reason why we don't go on huge tears is because of Haren/Beckett and whatever shit we throw out when Kersh/Greinke/Ryu aren't pitching.

    Yeah, we got lucky a few times with Hernandez and Correia, but that's not sustainable. :(
