    Scherzer, objectively, was the best pitcher in the NL this season, Strasburg is pitching out of his mind, and the Nats have the best position player in the playoffs with Harper. Their lineup is stacked.

    One difference I see between he and Kersh is that Stras is very even keel. Not a lot of wasted energy from him.
    If Kersh is a commando marine, Stras is the ghost sniper

    I've honestly been wondering to myself, "what if Kersh wasn't looked at as 'the man'?" Just hypothetically, what if say Buehler comes in next year and becomes what all the scouts thinks he can be, a front of the rotation ace? Does it help relieve some of the angst that obviously fuels a Kershaw playoff game? When he starts in the reg season, the dude is calm and collected, playoffs are a whole different story.

    Although the Nats scare me, having the Cubs and their fans get their heads bashed in does make me smile. It’s like the Gnats sucking again.....and Boston being trounced. The natural order has been restored in a way.
