I get that SD beat LA in the post and all signs point to YES on the Magic 8Ball .... But like many here, we know SoCal. And San Diego is the biggest bitch town there is. Other than Frisco, SD is a shitty sports town with huge douchebags for fans.

Beaches are awesome and lovely and all that ... But as for their teams and fans ... they deserve every bad thing that comes their way.

 

It's fucking maddening... do you remember in Apocalypse Now when Chef got off the PBR and went ashore into the jungle to get some mangoes for a recipe ? Then while he was looking, a tiger came at him and when he got back aboard he freaked totally out, screamed, and started taking off his clothes ? " A fucking tiger ??!!"
I envision some pitcher doing that before the season ends with this red clock shit counting down...

Sure. Makes sense. They get paid the same to work less, be less skilled, be less competitive. Why not support that, right?

 

well i wasn't planning on spending much time or money at the ravine this year anyway but i'd guess concession prices will have to go up to compensate

I was riffing on the players. They want a faster game. Ok. Let's see if that makes for a better game. I'm skeptical of course but... I'll wait and see.

business wise there is a downside to cutting 30% of the time off a game but as a fan of watching it on tv i don't have a problem so far
tomorrow will be the first chance i get to really sit down and watch a game but i did watch a couple of innings of replay last night and it seemed reasonable idk

 

I think coke will make a resurgence, a la Steve Howe, to facilitate the sped up format.

came up holding his knee and had to be helped into the golf cart
kid was visibly upset and despondent
