Not at all, its the reality of time.
There are things for us older guys that are wildly more interesting to than what the kids are doing. At least should be more interesting to us in our older age.
If what the kids are doing is more interesting to people then we have the whole not wanting to grow up syndrome.
Times change man, you gotta change with the times but not be changed by the time each time time passes you by.
In the summer eat some peaches, in the fall pick some berries, in the winter have some squash, and in the spring kill a goat.

I grew up taking religious liberty classes.
It's really about the separation of church and state.
In this sense, the word separation actually means protection much in the same way we use a restraining order.

Something tells me this isn't Jeff Session's intent here.

The exact opposite of what you are talking about. His task force is ALL about making Christianity and government one and the same. What about his background leads you to believe otherwise?

Ok, but what is it you fear he is going to do?
Because you just said he wants to make the US a theocracy with a priest as a head of state or kingmaker.

Huh, he didn't say he wanted a theocracy.
    I know I didnt.
Your reaction is as if you think he is going to make the US a theocracy.
What is it you think is gonna happen?

These people are gonna try...that is their dream, and that is the problem. They control all three branches of government. This has been their wet dream for some time. And they have the most extreme right government in more than 30 years to try to achieve it.

If you don't want a Christian theocracy, double speak like Sessions and his Religious Liberty sham is what is scary. Discrimination....no, not if it is about protecting Christian values.....Crosses and the Ten Commandments on state and federal buikdings....fine, Religious Liberty.

A Muslim Mosque in the Lower East Side.....sorry, terrorism not Religious Liberty.

I have been around these people and been one of these people most of my life. That is not their dream. It is actually the biggest nightmare. Christians have lived under religious dictatorships before, that is why they are the rebels. In most stories and movies where the good guys are the rebels and the bad guys are the empire it is talking about the christians and the catholics.
The founding fathers did not want open liberal religiosity which is exactly what is happening again in europe right now. A secular nation will always be beaten by a religious nation because the secular nation will eventually allow all religions equality in their country exposing their nations one and only true weak underbelly to some crazy religion that will gut the nation like you gut a great white.
The only way the secular nation can fight back is socialism so they can leach off the population to fight back.
Both lead to disintegration of the nation.

Now if they are working with other foreign forces to join and greatly expand the papal empire into the greatest one in the history of the world. If you see the christians and the catholics holding hands you know the end is near.

That is unfortunately not what the current administration, it's agencies, and the right of the Christian sect in this country believes in. You may hold these views, but that is not certainly the views of those in power.

I just read that some stray mylar balloons, tangled in powerlines is what caused the power outage at the game last night. If any of you have ever hiked in the Santa Monica Mountains you'd know that while fun for the kiddies, loose balloons don't fly into outer space, rather they come down to litter the mountains and/or wreak havoc at baseball games.

Moral of the story: Don't let go, pop the fuckers and throw them in a can.

Actually same thing happened during the 1984 LA Olympics. They released hundreds of gold Mylar balloons at the start of the opening ceremonies. When they landed miles away, short circuited the powerlines. Blackout.

    People don't learn.

used to be a tradition at the lair at the end of a party to tie the left over balloons up and let them go w blinking lights so we could follow them
those all went to outer space though lol
we knew it was wrong but everyone really loved doing it
then the price of helium started to rise and that was the end of that
