    Not three games in.

    Maybe after 75.

we're all on the AGon crazy train, but honorable mention to a few other guys..

McCarthy..he had a better night than the stats ultimately ended up saying by the end of his outting. out-pitched the man he matched up with and was a gangster at the dish when he had to be, fouling off 99mph and drawing a hell of a walk with the bases juiced. tough.

Kendrick..the dude just quietly motors along behind AGon with his .417 average in the series and he squares everything up at the dish. gettin it done in the field as well.

Crawford..shaky in the field, but right behind Kendrick at the dish with his .400 average in the series and getting on base at a .455 clip. might have been an even more insane series for AGon if CC were in the 2-hole.

Joc..good defense out there in CF and a couple extra base knocks to go with it. hangin in there without protection in the lineup.

Kemp..good series for him, but it ended just the way he wouldn't have wanted it to ( and just the way many of us have seen)..on a sour note..inability to lay off Peralta's slider and the whiff.

he's a peak and valley player at this point, so you have to beware that something bigger may be looming anytime he's struggling. however, he did hit the ball hard a couple times, so those were good signs. but if the lack of production lingers on and stretches into what it was in the 2nd half of last season..he'll probably need to be put in the leadoff spot. Rollins is notorious for being a slow starter, so to have both Rollins and Puig potentially having slow starts together at the top of the lineup..that's scary scenario.

but if business doesn't pick up after a while, i assume the lineup will be juggled a bit with the Nerds making some suggestions. Puig can never hit anywhere behind AGon with that potential disaster on the basepaths not really helping anyone, so i just assume they'd do something like move Puig into the leadoff spot and put CC in the 2-hole against righties and SVS in the 2-hole against lefties..Rollins maybe moves into the 6th spot behind Grandal. but hopefully this is nothing, Puig gets on track, and it doesn't come to all that.
