    Losing respect for Harrison Barnes, you've got to battle, son.
    Gaining respect for Demar Derozan, this man is battling, different role, but still.
    Draymond Green playing like the bitch he is, 1-7 from the field, 6 points, KD shuttin him down with the length.
    If I were Ben Simmons I would take it as a slight if someone compared me to a 6'5" Draymond Green.

    Wow, did OKC hold back during the regular season? The level they are playing at is unbelievable. They were such a mentally fragile team during the regular season. This has been so impressive.

    Been his issue since college. Hyped up as the next big thing and has always been too passive in his approach. He shows flashes of brillance when he plays aggressive, but it's not often. GS should start Iguodala at the 3 going forward because Barnes is a statue out there offensively and a liability on defense. I would hope the Lakers stay far away from him this offseason.

    There was a point when I thought his passiveness would mesh well with DLo and Randle and allow them to still get plenty of experience in big games/big spots as aggressive offensive guys, but there's also a point where you can just be too damn passive.
    Even Odom, as passive as he could be at times, found a way to make an impact on games, big rebounding efforts, facilitating the offense as a playmaker, defending, something, Odom would find a way to put his fingerprints on the game in some aspect.
    But Barnes, like you said there, is just a statue..he cannot get a max contract, Luke guy or not.

    I'd be very wary of role players on great teams. They're often times made to look better than they are by great teammates. Barnes, Speights, Barbosa and Livingston are examples of this.

    I make a run at Barnes if he took role player's money, but he won't and he doesn't have to. I realize he would be more than a role player with the Lakers. Not sure he's up for that.

    Barnes has a higher ceiling than those other guys tho, or so we think.
    I prefer they pay Nic Batum, he's said he wants to stay in Charlotte, but they all say that kinda stuff hoping teams will overpay to get them to leave.
    Don't know how many times over the years I've heard a player say " I want to stay " and then they shoot outta there like a rocket once FA begins.
