Jets actually did a solid job of not making it so obvious. I mean they did have the lead with seconds remaining. The obvious tank move would be to just get the doors blown off your ass. They also could've let the RAIDERS score on the drive before the bomb to Ruggs and didn't
I would say Gregg Williams just did what he does. Quite a few coaches in the league outsmart themselves, but he's just an asshole. Always been an asshole. Guy zero blitzes just about anytime there's a game deciding moment Definitely feel Carr's career would've had to continue elsewhere had this not happened. He didn't play his best in this game either. He's faltering under the pressure to guide this team, and all he wanted to talk about in the offseason was the " disrespect " he gets. Jury's out on this guy leading..he smells like the NFL's Paul George. They're both from Fresno State too..I'm just gonna blame @fsudog21 Lol
Pass to Agholor didn't happen on the 14 play drive that the Jets stopped. That's the point. Jets were still getting stops late in the 4th. Wouldn't even have been a close game at all if they were looking to do the obvious And of course, none of the Jets' current coaching staff is going to survive the offseason. They're cleaning house there, so their coaches aren't gonna reap any benefits from tanking. Tanking teams generally have coaching staffs with job security. It's just fun to point and say - they're tanking - but they're really not. They just suck and have assholes in high positions on their current coaching staff. RAIDERS really should be embarrassed that it wasn't a blowout, but they don't have time to be embarrassed. Game VS Indy this week is basically a playoff game
Gladly take blame for them. Throw in Judge, too. You're looking in the wrong place for a scapegoat when you defense gives up 28 fucking points to Jets. I'd say Greg Williams was on the take, but you're right.......he's an ahole.
Raiders/Jets game ( aside from all the suspicions of tanking was like a NY/ Oak game of old. Took me back to when the Raiders would pull it out in the last seconds...do you old guys remember the Heidi bowl ? The only thing missing yesterday was George Blanda. And Daryl. And Fred. And Marcus. And Ray.And Jim. And Raymond...and...Jeeziz, they were so great...
They're going as far as the offense takes them and everybody knew that coming into this season with playoff expectations. I know you're proud of him and the other guys..was just kidding there. But yeah, Carr has to play better if they plan on making the playoffs. He hasn't played up to par since the KC game, when he got all the congrats and backslaps. The team's been built around him..no offensive line is more expensive and it's a top tier unit, has weapons galore at skills positions, and he has full command with years of experience. So he just has to play better. No way around it RAIDERS had 24 points on the board before Gregg Williams did his Gregg Williams thing..24 is not enough. Ended up with 31 by the grace of god and that's where they have to live anyway. Should have put 40+ on the Jets. But 31 is better than fucking 3. 3 in ATL = no excuse and unacceptable..fireable offense.
Lol Gregg Williams fired Should say this for Williams....he actually called the same blitz on the drive before, which killed the RAIDERS drive at the goal line and turned them over on downs. Carr saw the blitz coming, but rushed and back footed the throw, under throwing Agholor. Williams may have felt like Carr was cracking because that play was uuuugly
Rams VS Patriots, Thursday night football. Pretty solid matchup Can't see Newton moving the ball, so Goff really just needs to take care of the ball
Rams need a better running attack in that the less Goff has the ball in his hands or trying to pass, the better.
The running attack looked pretty good yesterday. Eventually they'll have to move the ball through the air, though, in the playoffs Starting to like their chances if they can avoid the Saints. Rams have Seattle's number and everybody else can't be trusted. NFC is down, down, down this year. Bucs look like all hype and the Packers' D can be bullied any given game. If Goff can just not turn it over when he has to pass..and he will have to pass
Yeah seems like Kyle Shanahan/Saleh has their number. Don't have to worry about those Niner assholes until next season thanks to the injuries. And even then, looks like they have uncertainty surrounding QB..might decide to reset and move on from Jimmy G. They could be losing Saleh as well..HC material
Lol I'm surprised that they've hung around, TBH. Trading Deforest Buckner and then losing Bosa..2 all pro's gone. Sherman is still pretty good too, said he's playing elsewhere next season. Oh well. No tears for'em
30 yard sack on Mahomes..jesus. I know he can be had when he gets cute but Need him not to lay down today VS Miami. Playing in Miami is usually a tough one
