You cant compare Aldon Smith to Zeke. That dude is a train wreck. Zeke has never been arrested or failed a drug test so I don't take much stock in rumors. The police stated after their investigation that Zeke committed no crime and that his x GF was lying.
This was a double shot by Goodell/the league to both Elliott and Dallas because they've both been out of line for a while. Dallas must be setting a Guinness Book World record for most players suspended for one reason or another, and again, Zeke just has issues and people behind the scenes are trying to get him some help. Zeke is seemingly heading down that Aldon path and it's plain to see for people following all of his run in's with the law. I mean you can discount them as rumors if you like, but where there's smoke, there's fire. Not everybody out there is " out to get Zeke Elliott ", who also had issues @ Ohio State. Alcoholic with a penchant for snortin a line or two. This is a guy that had an appeal out for the league's suspension, while at the same time also having another appeal out with the city because he was doing 100mph one night after leaving the club or whatever. It's a pretty big pile of run in's. Also, Zeke would've probably been arrested, but Jones is making these problems disappear and the league knows it. Police literally cannot even locate the one witness they had to make a legit arrest for some fight he had at a bar, which was like his 3rd bar fight since joining Dallas. So the league is using DV to suspend him for as long as possible because of all these run in's with the law and all his problems..they have nothing to incriminate him as far as domestic violence goes, but they also don't need it because it's there own penal system and they can protect the shield however they see fit. Far as the RAIDERS go, what I'm saying is I'm not concerned with the league doing anything to RAIDERS' players. Even Sean Smith, who was arrested on felony assault a couple months ago..he whipped his sister's boyfriend for something the guy did, looking out for his sister. And that was the 1st arrest for the RAIDERS since 2014 or '13. Aldon isn't technically a RAIDER until he's reinstated and even hasn't been arrested once while with the team..he was detained once for being drunk AF as the passenger Lol, but wasn't arrested. I mentioned Aldon because the league's sending him a message as well to get it together.
This could be the most important 6 week stretch of Elliott's life. Because with the way he's going..you suspend this guy and now you take him out of the team atmosphere and he can't be around and they can't really do anything with him/keep him busy/etc., it's led to a lot of other problems for others in the league. He could easily find himself in some more shit while out of the team structure, so whoever his personal team is..the people in his life that are supposed to have his best interest at heart, they'd better start doing a better job too. Because I'm looking at his big ass black lips [no homo] on TV right now, and I know for certain that he smokes weed..blunts to be specific, and the league will pop his ass if he slips up and fails a test. If Le'Veon Bell can slip up, he can slip up too. He'd better not find himself in that drug program..because there's actually a drug testing deadline for those that aren't in the drug program and they can smoke weed freely after that deadline. But those guys that are in the drug program are tested randomly all year. And so 1 drug abuse suspension..a lot of times it turns into 2..and 3, and 4 because of the program itself. Hate to say this because there are rumors that he has an alcohol problem, but over the next 6 weeks I hope he just chugs away and stays away from the weed. Stick with what's legal by league standard's for now, brodie. He fucks around and gets suspended again..will just be more time away from the team and more opportunities for him to be running the streets, getting caught up. This time is vital for him.
Cant wait for the Cowboys to develop a new better trouble free RB in the wake of Zeke's suspension. And that RB make Zeke have to look for a new job. In Las Vegas.
Yeah Rube the whole world is looking for such a "new better trouble free RB" except that those are not naturally occurring events each season. Zeke Elliot was arguably the best college RB in the country which is why he was chosen so high. He may be messed up between the ears but that does not make him so easily replaced. Just saying, your heart is in the right spot but your reality is not
I was being facetious. Joke being on Tony Romo vis a vis Dak taking his job last year. It would be hilarious if the same thing happened to Zeke. Not saying that there is any probability of it happening but then before Dak played his first game nobody thought that Romo would be scuttled in favor of a dude with the name Dak. Great RB have been replaced shockingly easily in certain organizations though, Denver specifically comes to mind.
Patriots average 3 less yards per play with Edelman off the field and when Edelman plays they own a .818 win %. When he doesn't play, .684 win %. In 2015, Brady’s nine games with a healthy Edelman, the Patriots quarterback threw for 338.1 yards per game, 24 touchdowns and three interceptions by completing 67.8 percent of his passes, as noted by The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin. But when Edelman went down with an injury, Brady threw for 246.7 yards per game, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions by completing 59.4 percent of his passes in the seven games that followed. We'll see how it translates to this year. Have to say I'm rooting for KC tomorrow..only the Patriots can make one do such.
This is about to be a tough opener in Tennessee, fuck Mariota is real..33TD to 0 INTs in the red zone thus far in his career Titans likely see it as a launching point for them..against a good team that they may see in the playoffs..IMO, and many others, they are the best team in the AFC South RAIDER defense needs all the help they can get..RAIDER offense may have to play a little ball control with Lynch and the running game, may need a little special teams magic from Patterson and Richard as well If Mario Edwards weren't playing I might have called a L here for the RAIDERS, but with him and Mack on the other side + Joseph, I like their chances @ stopping TEN's run game just enough A fair amount of pundits think TEN pulls it out, but I think the RAIDER offense will be even a little better than some think efficiency wise with 3 starting caliber TEs now + Lynch and Patterson Think it'll be a close one, maybe back and forth on the scoreboard a bit..I'll say 31-27 RAIDERS, perhaps even 31-30
Nah, go Pats. They'll win their cupcake division with ease regardless of tomorrow's outcome. KC losing is more beneficial for the Raiders. I feel disgusting, but it's one of the few times i'll go for NE.
I feel you, but I don't even care about a division title. Not that the road to a division title wouldn't be exciting, but I'm just more concerned with health. I just wanna get into the playoffs with a healthy Carr and company for the most part. If the season played itself out just like last year, with the exception of Carr going down of course, they're probably the faves to meet the Pats in the AFC title game regardless of their WC standing. I want the Pats to face reality this year..they're not that good. I want them to see that from day 1 and carry that shit all the way through the season and into playoffs.
Adam SchefterVerified account@AdamSchefter Raiders and Sebastian Janikowski resolved contractual differences, per sources. The longest tenured Raider in history remains in Oakland.
I hate to say it, but he kinda looks like those mutant humans in the version of the Omega Man with Charleston Heston. I know.....racist.
Hahahaha Careful now, we don't need Reggie protesting. He already has his 40 acres and a mule hat on underneath the hoodie..Spike Lee's film production company
