Kenley may have one of the most fragile mentalities in baseball for a closer. When he has his pitches (really only one pitch actually), and he gets the first batter out....there maybe no one better at closing the game out. But if his pitch isn't 100%, and he puts a man on base....I mean it's white knuckle time. He just seems to lose it completely instead of bearing down and getting through it. I know it's just one game...but he's had some real stinkers at critical times in critical games. It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence if we make the playoffs.
My vision is fine, birthday boy, ...why would you expect a Sunday 'style' lineup on Wednesday? It's called a calender, bkitch.
His crying over Chapman when Chapman said he didn't mind an 8th inning role, was weak. Just out work the dude.
