    ...siiiiiiiighh...

it is true young padowan... recent events show your point

however the day she be different.. and the air smells a wee bit fairer this season than last

and while I might personally agree and might also prefer anyone but the Cad's

I'm simply hoping that it doesn't matter.

It's about time to get jiggy..

I can just see some of these guys getting their mojo back at the right time
and besides we have a new ginger talisman aboard
    with power..
back to back Cy Young winner leading the charge

I'm liking our chances for the first time in a long while

Well, we did beat the Cardinals in '09 winning 3 straight in the NLDS, with guys like Vicente Padilla as a SP for us. This is a team that still had Puljos is his prime.

In '88 we couldn't beat the Mets to save our lives in the regular season, and we came out of that one to get to the World Series, playing against a team that NO ONE thought we would even win a game against. I mean no one on that '88 team batted near .300.

AND, we don't have Broxton to screw us up in the 9th. I like our chances with anyone.

I know it's a trip down amnesia way, but I can't help but think anything can happen in this game.

exactly. Lol like it'd be some sort of reinvention of the wheel if he were to start. smh dude was a top of the order/everyday all-star in Tampa and was good enough to score a 140M dollar contract..he can hit a funkin lefty. and Lopez is as tough as they come.

and i feel we can. Pittsburgh's pitching is suspect..STL's hitting is suspect..and if we're matching up with the Nats - we're the best road team in the majors, so it's not like we can't get 1 or even 2 games there. the Nats have as big a bum @ shortstop ( defensively) as we do and they've had a lot of struggles with Atlanta over the last two years..we can own them.

Looking at the brackets I'm thinking
    a) I want the Gnat's ass out at once.. Go Bucs!
    b) we can beat ANY team in the NL
    c) the Detroit v. Baltimore winner might be our toughest test.. and the reason there is no Freeway Series
