    I know many of you SoCal'ers can't stand teams like DBags, Pads, and Angels. For me, they're pretty much just like any other team.

    Having lived in the Bay Area my whole life, I've developed a deep, dark, disdain for the Gnats. I loathe everything about them. Those two championships they won haunt my dreams. To this day, I curse McCourt for allowing it to happen on his watch. Those Gnat teams weren't that good - there just wasn't anyone to stop them.

    This year's team is also not that impressive, and frankly I'm surprised they're on the brinks of getting a WC. The Peavy trade helped them immensely (when will we be able to say that about one of Ned's moves?). So I would love to see the Dodgers clinch in front of them, and then more importantly, to keep the wins coming all the way through the playoffs. Only then will I be able to start the healing process.
