    Since 2002, the wild card has won the World Series five times. A wild card team (from either league) has made the World Series in the last eight years.

    Fuck it, let's win the wild card.

    Yeah and I thought the new wild card play in game would harm them, I like the idea of them having to play an extra game and burn their ace but even that didn't change much

    problem is then there's the risk of the division winners getting rusty
    i understand there is no perfect scenario
