Hopefully he can carry his performance over the last 10 games (.304 and 6 XBHs) out to the end of the season.

Urias threw 6 scoreless innings... so, so good.

And make it 28 homers for Bellinger.

Except Schebler turned 23 at the end of his year at RC, Bellinger just turned 20 last month.

Alex Verdugo hit for the cycle for Rancho too. He's been raking for a while now and especially since joining Rancho.

This has been an unbelievable year for the farm. Nobody has really under performed and a ton of guys have hit the helium tank pretty hard. Looking at you Verdugo, Cotton, De Leon, Bellinger, Barnes and even Scavuzzo has benefited from a promotion. The future is very bright for this franchise as the FO has done a fantastic job adding to farm that was already pretty strong with guys like Peraza, Barnes, Alvarez, Heredia, De Jong, Paroubeck, Wieland, Jaime and Hernandez. They may not all be superstars, but they have done a wonderful job of filling up the farm with good depth without moving HUGE pieces.

I remember when Zack Lee's name was front and center.I don't even know where the kid is now...but he once represented the cream of the crop of the new LAD wave of pitching futures. Untouchable. He'll be fine.
    Kinda sad.

Zack Lee was never anywhere near the prospect that Seager, Urias, Pederson or even De Leon is now. At best Lee was considered a top 60 prospect. He was the cream of the crop because he was our only crop during the McCunt years.

Thank you sir. To be fair, in the Cal League right now I could probably hit 5 bombs lol. Almost every park it's 90+ degrees and the wind blows out. Only Lake Elsinore, Inland Empire, Stockton, and Rancho play relatively neutral. Lancaster, High Desert, and bakersfield are awful.

We'll see how he does next year. I'm optimistic.

That feeling when you scout Verdugo out of the Area Code games, think he can hit, everyone disagrees, gets drafted as a CF by the Dodgers, and becomes a top prospect lol. That's probably horrible grammar I don't care

Yes, it's the CAL League, but being 2nd in MILB in homers mainly as a 19 year old when power was kinda the missing tool for Bellinger is a hella good sign.

    Top 100 lists next year?

I agree with the post earlier about how just about all of our major prospects have performed good to great this year as well as adding a ton more young talent to the system over the last 10 months.

Chris Anderson is the one guy that has really disappointed me. He's been pretty meh this year and I was really encouraged after his last month in Rancho last year. Maybe he figures it out but hopefully he can be at least a good reliever.

Agreed. Anderson and Windle were supposed to be in our pen by this time. Neither one has performed very well but a least we got "something" for Windle.
