    Toles taking advantage?
His line in Tulsa is what? Rising.
Now .357/.386/.643 with 3HRs in 9 games and 44 plate appearances.
Toles about to be in OKC if he keeps it up, A and AA seem to be a snooze-fest for him.

    That's sick.
If he has movement on 97-98, but can just gear it up to 100-102 at a moment's notice, that's sick all on it's own.
Can't be walking guys tho if he's to get a shot at the 8th inning.

    Rockies can keep McGee.
    We need Trayce's BFF Arenado @ 3B.
Take Turner and a kid or two

Just think if Boras and Beltre weren't so greedy we might not have needed a 3B for last 12 yrs (and counting).

For how well he has been playing, I have not heard anything about him, which is weird. He had never played above high A until this year. Hard to believe that they would send him to AAA anytime soon unless he is throwing out a like 400/450/500 line through about 40 games.

OR if we weren't so cheap? You can't knock a guy for playing the market.

From what I recall, Dodgers (with DePo as GM) offered just very slightly less than Seattle. I don't really blame DePo for that.

Dodgers were a superior organization at the time and had a much friendlier home park in which to hit. Beltre was coming off the best season a Dodger 3B has ever had. He never approached those numbers in Seattle.

Willie McGee? Fahgeddaboutit. That guy is pushing 65, knock-kneed as hell, and wasn't that good in his prime.

Willie is too recent for Codge.

He relates better to Fibber McGee.

I meant heard anything about his play this year. Also, that is not saying much since the Rays farm was pretty weak for a good stretch in there.

Wasn't saying he was the GOAT or anything.
Still, he did tear it up in a loaded midwest league, tabbed the 19th ranked guy in the league that year by BA.
Rays' farm was meh, but he was near the top of it, all you can ask for.

What a hard thing for an org right? You gotta try a guy as a starter because a #3/#4 is much better then a reliever. But, what point do you stunt that and say "fuck it' and put him in the bullpen? Cause if you put him in the bullpen too early, might fuck up his starter development and you might have ruined a potential starter just to appease a 1 inning need.

Frias threw 4 scoreless today. Still think he's not much as a starter but has some damn potential as a reliever, was hoping they'd abandon him as a starter but again, as I said above, if theres any chance he can be one you gotta try it

If Montas becomes the elite reliever we need and Trayce is the real deal in lf them damn what a steal the FO pulled off.

Way too early to make a BP pitcher out of him, especially when he has 1-2 potential.

Going to be a delicate balance between Urias' continuing development and the team's immediate needs in the pen.

Sorry about the confusion, but perhaps some of the same concerns apply.

I worry about Montas' reportedly lack of command. That doesn't play well out of the pen.
