You're just being a contrarian because I'm the one pointing out the obvious. Why don't you just imagine Liberace said it and you'll be all on board!
Well now Cuntlipbluecodge, I'm sorry to irritate your vulva but this time the very same writer let it fly in such a manner even the likes of you can comprehend.... http://www.latimes.com/sports/angels/la-sp-dodgers-urias-hernandez-20160520-11-story.html
You obviously don't understand the meaning of obvious. If it was obvious, it would have been there in print, the proverbial black and white (racist).
As has been mentioned on this forum, Hernandez is a douche black belt. But continue lapping his sack if that's what floats your boat. But just to clue you in...it's the offense, not the pitching. The Dodgers are LAST in the division in runs scored. Meanwhile their pitching ranks in the upper half of the league. But don't let the facts stand in the way of your bashing.
Stay on topic now. The article is about Urias, a pitcher, ya know? And yeah, that amazing staff was clearly on display last night, as is their record on non CK days. Funny Caitblue, how you have to go through some kind of change and speak of something outside the scope of the article to avoid the, um, obvious.
Didn't even read the article, don't need to. And I was wrong, the pAAdres have scored fewest in the division. The Dodgers have allowed the fewest in the divsion, because their pitching sucks...right? Here's a list of teams that have allowed fewer runs than the Dodgers. Nationals Mets Cubs That's it. But it's the pitching put together by that suck ass FO, right? So...talk about avoiding the obvious?
TBF, if you look just at relievers we have the 19th best ERA in the MLB (3.98), and without Kershaw our starters have a 4.23 ERA, which would be 15th. Kershaw brings the starters down to 5th (3.52). Outside of Kershaw, our pitching is middling. If we had even an average offense we'd be winning more games, but it's 21st in BA (.243), 21st in OBP (.313) and 24th in SLG (.383). We are also 25th in OPS w/ RISP (.671). All told, we're an average to below average team without Kershaw at the moment.
