That would be an interesting idea on nabbing Bailey too, but I would think that Cincy may want to hold onto that card and see what he could get them in the coming seasons when he is healthy. No feedback on the workout, doubt we really hear anything.

Apparently had it today, haven't heard about anybody else being involved, but I'm sure teams want this done quickly.

They can be, it just needs to pass by MLB. Remember, the Dodgers landed Arroyo last year when he was on the DL.

Yeah I was thinking of Arroyo there too
I was thinking more along the lines of Homer Bailey going to a 3rd team tho, whatever it takes for LAD not to have to send more upper tier prospects

Well.... if Turner is broken again, may have to go hard after Gourriel now.

My thought was Segedin at OKC but I forgot about Gourriel being out there, just hope we don't overpay IF JT is out

Turner finished his AB. Why are we assuming he's injured?

I understand that he probably left due to a cramp and for precautionary reasons but he isn't a spring chicken. We've had some pretty bad luck as of late so it could just be paranoia

The Athletics have claimed righty Nick Tepesch off waivers from the Dodgers, per a club announcement. Oakland designated lefty Eric Surkamp to clear a roster spot. Tepesch made a spot start for Los Angeles, marking his first major league outing since 2014. He was far from dominant, but obviously showed enough for Oakland to desire his services. Tepesch has battled through injury issues, but provided the Rangers with some good innings over 2013-14 and was carrying a 3.66 ERA at the Triple-A level on the year.

Bruce would be a half year rental, it's worth the risk
