Both you guys are killing me. The point is none of us can tell the future...PERIOD. So Dodger MGT might make Harper the highest paid player or they may not. Honestly it is a bit stupid to get upset debating that fact.

I am a bit curious to see what Harper will command since there is no Salary Cap in the MLB. Looking at the NBA Kobe made $30MM a year or so ago and now $25-$30MM contracts are being handed out like hotcakes.....and the NBA has a Hard Salary Cap. Im a bit scared to see what Harper will command.....heck when Kershaw is a FA that's gona be a crazy contract. And after Greinke's contract this year, will anyone hand out that much or more cash to Kershaw/Aretta/Madbum.....

I can't tell the future but it might get nuts!!!
