i said it to start the game: All year we've said "Who the fuck cares who is starting for us, lets find a way to win" and that carried over today. a full ass team effort
Joe Blanton was an amazing signing. I hated that guy as a starter but he ended up being one hell of a relief pitcher for us and we probably miss the playoffs without him.
wow after kersh got the last out i think it was the first time i breathed in 4 hours thought about vinny watching and teared up my god, what a great managing job by doc and for all those who scoffed at the ruiz/ellis trade [myself included], what an acquisition loved watching joc geek out on his bomb so much to say but i better start working on the lcs thread something tbh i did not anticipate go dodgers!!!
Yeah especially when he went 2-14 and a 6.04 ERA with the Angels a couple years back. He was washed up then
Yeah but... old Dusty used his whole roster too and see what that earned him No hard feelings against the man but he's wearing shiny rings
tim kurkjian (sp) just said that was one of the greatest games he's ever seen called kersh coming in to close "ridiculously great"
Loved him as a Dodger. Hated him as a Giant manager. Actually feel a little sorry for him. He'll take more heat than he deserves.
Have to assume Maeda gets the game 1 start, then not sure if this appearance pushes Kershaw from game 2 to 3, if so, then you have to figure out the game 2 starter, Rich Hill can pitch game 3 on full rest. EDIT: Kershaw just said he viewed this as his bullpen day, so maybe they do this: Game 1: Maeda Game 2: Kershaw Game 3: Hill Game 4: Spot starter (Stripling, Urias etc) Game 5: Kershaw (3 days rest)
DVR required three different programs in my case but it was irrelevant as I'd used up all the green bar at once and it was just live ..at least until the first swing of Turner's triple AB when the whole UVerse system crashed on me still haven't seen the hit
