    i got to know the dodgers fans one night when we were losing big and Mike Marshall hit a home run to win it late
    it was one of my first ever trips to chavez ravine and so many fans were talking shit about the team
    and yes many left the game in disgust, not to beat the traffic but because they had no faith in the team
    then mike hit that wondrous home run that was cemented in my brain
    it showed me to have faith in my team
    and what a shitty fan sounded like
