A bubble wrapped rookie pitcher (Buehler) is a long shot to be an asset in the playoffs. A reliever who is unable (or not allowed) to throw in back to back games is pretty useless for the playoffs. Have to admit the other options aren't looking so good these days. As shitty as Baez was last night, he could have dug himself out of it with a little help from Turner.

Baez is definitely more Fredo than Santino. The error was charged to Turner and I heard this morning that runner claimed the ball grazed his arm. Regardless it was a fucking mess.

Not sure Buehler will see game action tonight. Got roughed up a bit in his last AAA appearance which was on the 3rd. They have been cautious with his usage by giving him 3 nights mostly between appearances outside of his B2B early last week.
