So we don’t have the tiebreaker with them? Cause if we win 1 more, at worse we tie with them at the end of the season.
Hm, I’m actually not sure about that. We didn’t play them this year so I THINK 2nd tiebreaker is record within division and I think dodgers don’t have a good one. Not sure though
MLB magic number: 1 (we clinch best record with one more win, or with one more loss from each of Cleveland and Houston)
This will never happen, but I'd like to see the season shortened to 154 games. There could be a few more off days during the season and the wildcard playoffs could be at the end of September, then the Division Series could start at the very beginning of October and be 7 game series. As it is, our division series won't start until Oct 6.
They need to have the playoffs start earlier. The wild cards get momentum while the playoffs teams sit on their asses for five days. There was an interesting plan to model the WC playin after either the KBO or the Japanese playoffs. For the play in teams they need to have two games, but the higher seed only has to win one while the lower seed needs to win both. Does more to burn pitchers.
fixed know that's harsh, but sorry... division winners should get something for that side note... if two wild cards make it to the ws they should have to play outside the country
What.....no pornographic countdown photos for MLB HFA? Request to Irish: photoshop a picture of Heidi Whatney on the body of an attractive nude female. (Can't believe I have to clarify this, but with Irish, you never really know)
Only reason I can't hate too much on wild cards is that there are years where a division is crazy tough, like this years NL West and a couple years ago when the NL Central sent three teams with 90 wins. It happens.
spell it however you'd prefer now if you've finished your coffee break would you get on this already? DSP natives don't like having to ask more than twice
