We will win next game if the umpire gifts us 3 runs like he did the Rays tonight.

Wish Lowe would have waited until next year to wake up.

The only positive tonight was about the whole team shit the bed and played awful, yet we were still in it until the end against their best pitcher. Still, bats need to get their shit together and for fucks sake do we need some better AB's in big game situations.

Welp. Hope that’s an eye opening loss for them. I don’t feel AWFUL about the loss though. Basically, Tony/May gave up most of the runs and there’s not much you can do about that. Not a team wide blow up, just two starters who both didn’t have it and you learn from it and don’t use them like that moving forward

offense scoring 4 runs and having some bad luck in not getting more is kinda impressive against that pitching staff

there aren’t moral victories in the World Series, only victories, but I feel like our pitching can definitely improve in results since it’s been fine outside Tony/May meanwhile our offense has been good enough and can be even better. Keep it going, win the next 3 with our 3 horses

Couldn't believe how Bellinger locked up in the 8th. Can't imagine what he was thinking.

I do think we can win without using Tony/May much going forward but it sure would be nice if they could be useful only as typical 1 inning relievers. We could get by without them being more than that, but it’s be nice if they could at lest do that

Pitching needs to not give up 6 against a shitty offensive team. Two homers to brandon fucking Lowe is an absolute joke. Fuck Bullpen games.

Morton is Tampa’s scariest starter IMO though, but we have our scariest starter. Need the offense to keep a good mindset and approach and fuck him up. Fuck that 2017 Astro forever here’s your chance for revenge

Will Smith and Muncy were so fucking close to HRs in that 8th inning. Muncy just got under one and Smith crushed one right at 3rd base. I hate baseball

Yeah I think they don't start anymore.

Although that makes me think we'll throw out Alex Wood as a fourth starter moving forward

He threw two shutout innings tonight. Shouldn't press your luck.

I didn’t watch the first inning but honest question: was Gonsolin that bad? I know he had a hiccup against the Braves but outside of that he’s been solid. Mays the only guy I feel shouldn’t get a start.

All the contact off him was HARD, his command was bad, and the stuff not good enough to make up for that. Rays aren’t that good at hitting fastballs usually yet they had no trouble with Tony’s/Mays

I don’t think they’re lost causes, I just don’t think tHey can start or be used in high leverage until they show otherwise

A couple of the shots hit against May were on hanging breaking balls.

From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows

Ah well, beat Morton and we’re back in the drivers seat

no one said this series would be easy and we were still in it till the end
