What I don't get it is seems to me the Christian/devout individuals are the ones poo- pooing a rare and magnificent celestial event. I would think with the belief in a Supreme Being like the God, this eclipse on tap today is one of his/her devine and miraculous creations, wouldn't it?? Like back in the carny days- the blow off. Hallellujah.
There are lots of theories about the upcoming possibilities. None of them good... if you're breathing. I agree with you, one of the best GoT episodes yet and definitely an important plot development at the end. If I think about it, it seems an obvious thing to happen; but I still wasn't expecting it... maybe that's why I'm not a writer... I can't imagine the obvious.
Best part about the latest episode of GoT - no scenes with Bran. That guy has turned into a total dick. He started as a peeping tom in the first episode of the first season, and really has never quit as he's followed his dream of becoming the ultimate peeping tom. And condescending on top of that. Fuck that guy.
friend had some glasses so i checked it out it's cool because it's an historic occurrence but otherwise meh cgi has numbed my appreciation of reality
That's is what in Hollywood is called making do with a bad actor. Keanu Reeves has made millions just saying "whoa".
We started watching Ozark and it's bad ass so far, 3 of 10... Bateman is really good in it. Check it on Netflix.
I got sleepy around the third or fourth episode and the remembered Netflix has porn now and turned to that Nymphomaniac movie for a good 6 minutes.
I did it too, but by accident. It got a little dark and I stepped out but could not step out of the roofs shadow so I could not see the sun so I take off my glasses and turn back to the secretary with a "I cant see the sun" but right as a sun the sun hits me in the corner of my eye and I see long piece of blazing white chalk in my left eye for the next 15 minutes until the sun streak fades away. Then again I have a history of trying to look at the sun. Then shutting my eyes and enjoying all the pretty colors.
Partial eclipses are boring. Being in the path of totality was amazing and beyond words. The temperature drops, the wind stopped and it became completely still. It gets dark, it's like sunrise and sunset at the same time. The pictures of the coronal halo dont do it justice
