You and Chief....you guys are so soft, I'm gonna start calling the both of you " Paul George " if you're not careful You do have a point though, my guy. Lol Gotta call'em how you see'em. At least the actual games are entertaining..LeBron swatted Westbrook's shots weeks ago and dem shits still haven't landed
Eh, for now. But 2020 won't catch me celebrating early like Diggs caught DK Metcalf yesterday. 2020 is gonna have to work to catch this body
Likewise, broseph Thanks. For a limited time only, though, so don't get too excited. Lol You guys could call me " McRib " for short if you so please
I don't shed any tears for Doc. Never forget how he blamed the loss in the championship series against the Lakers on Perkins' injury, ignoring that Bynum was playing on one leg.
Can't forget one of the most overrated players in the game today - Lou Williams - either. Can't say I didn't warn you guys. Smh Guy feeds on the randomness of the regular season and plays heavy minutes against 2nd units. Been doing it for years. Gets exposed in the playoffs every single time, without fail. The Lou Will trade prediction is alive and well. That's if Jerry still has control of the Clips, that is - because Kawhi either punked Jerry into trading a million assets for Paul George, or ol' Jerry just doesn't see it anymore. Ol' Jerry has to hold the L, as well. Let's not forget him. He signed up to be a Clipper - for shame
MIA is the 2nd best team in the NBA, though, at least to my eye. Key word - team. Well balanced, well coached and they give a fuck about one another. Weird saying that about a 5-seed, but that's what I see. Their 2 best players defend..not as well as our 2 best, but you can't say that about a bunch of others playoff teams. They only come in 2nd to the LAL in - team. Feels like LAL in 6 or 7. Overall, MIA probably has more experience in their rotation than the opponents that LAL's faced thus far. And Jimmy's had a good amount of success against LeBron. Think sheer toughness is their best shot against LAL..nobody's going to outsmart LAL. Not with LeBron, Rondo and the braintrust. Whatever Spo thinks he knows about LeBron - that was a long time ago. LeBron's polished it up since then..way better at posting, reading/attacking from the post, and just better at playing big now in general. He should average 12-15 rebounds a game against MIA with a bunch of offensive rebounds. LAL can't get goaded into taking a bunch of 3's against MIA's zone. Gotta cut, pass, dribble penetrate and have 4 or all 5 guys crashing the offensive boards to take advantage of how hard it is to rebound when playing zone defense. Punish their lil asses early and set the tone for the series. If MIA gets out in transition, so be it..fuggit. Must get out on the 3 ball and keep bodies on Bam. Had no idea that Bam could bring the ball up like a guard, clear out and go one on one against everyfuckingbody..gotdamn, that was a sight to behold last night. Think the LAL defense wins out in the end..can't set up any zone defense if the opposing team is scoring in transition after stops. LAL is old, though, so a modest running game.
Yep, I want to see a steady diet of alternating AD and LeBron at the high post. Should be able to collapse the zone for easy shots and tons of offensive rebounds.
Hopefully, AD doesn't settle for a bunch of long 2's after making the catch in the high post. However, I'd rather him take those long 2's and give LAL a chance to beat MIA over the head on the offensive glass than try to force passes and turn it over. The ol' Kobe Game 7 VS Boston philosophy..fuggit..keep shooting bricks because we're getting all the offensive rebounds anyway.
It's going to be someone else 0ther than AD unless he makes a little more effort on the glass than he did in the Denver series. He was strangely passive on the boards.
Jokic can do that. Gotta get out on his 3 ball and also actively defend him in the mid-post, etc., so it's a little tougher to clean the glass with all that going on + their high screen/roll action + the passing and rotations thereafter. Jokic keeps everybody's head on a swivel Need a group effort on the glass - again - because Bam is going to attack AD and keep him busy again. Dust Keef Morris off..the man is shooting like 100% from the 3pt line in the playoffs, it feels like. He looks fresh, too, so he should eat on the glass
watching highlights and 23 is a beast, maybe... just stfu you might be the goat if you took a step back
