When lost most of my weight it was not through diet or exercise or even force of will but simply changing my mentality/attitude. It essentially a change in spirit. You are not the same dude anymore. You are still you but different somehow better. If you apply what youbhave learned to other parts of your life u will have success. Success is whatever that is for your heart. When it happened for me i was very sick. I cared so much about not dying of being so fat and unhealthy that i learned how to really care. Once i learned how to really care things changed for me. In a short span every major hurdle in my life that i previously could never have handled was put in front of me. And i was jumping hurdles like Jenner when he was a dude. Im doing stuff that i thought went counter to my programming. Like sales. I dont work sales at my work but i am this close from jumping departments because i am itching to go and sell when in the past i loathed it. I am naturally programmed to sell but i deprogrammed myself at aome point in my life for probably some bulllshit reason. This is what your change in mentality is. It is turning away from bad programming and letting the source code do its work. Like removing malware on your system gets all your apps working fine again. There will be so much fat in your life to trim. And all fat is is where all the bad shit is put into storage. And when all that bad stuff burns it is not always pleasant. Fat tends to be a sore loser. It will bring a little of all the bad stuff back up to the surface as it burns up. But it will pass. And then all will be good.
I agree with post a lot. I am much more selfish in a way. My goals and happiness are put at the very forefront, whereas before I would always put myself last, in all aspects. I didn't love myself. I do now. I look forward to see where I go from here and I do feel much more equipped to handle whatever life throws at me, I know I can get through it.
Thanks, I appreciate that. Yeah, I didn't do anything revolutionary, just the tried and true method of eating nutrient dense food and moving my fat ass. lol Not focused on weight much anymore, the focus has shifted to body composition. When you lose as much weight as I have, you can tell. I figure I need a solid 3 to 4 years of exercising everyday to achieve a body composition I am going to be happy with. Even then though, this is a life change, not a temporary goal. The rewards of self belief have turned me into an addict.
you should try back/front yard farming you eat the most nutrient rich food for pennies and you get a great total body workout and a nice tan too there are some nice modern hand tools made just for this type of thing they make harvesting a piece of cake you will have the body you want in a year
congrats bdk, that's awesome! you'll find that you're so much healthier now so much less stress on your heart proud of you bruh!
spoken as the oath "in all things moderation, including moderation" while a focused positive mental outlook is a powerful weapon you also can't believe in your own damned fool hippie self so much that people stare.
lol at gatorade going all in this year every sports interview has it placed in plain sight and now the d league is called the g league i do love me some cold rade though when the big one is .59 i buy it cases at a time
Years ago when the kids were both running cross country we went through crazy amounts of it. Once blue eyes found it on sale for .50 each for the big ones and we bought something like 24 cases. Cleaned out two stores of the flavors the kids liked. Entire shopping carts full, stacks of cases in the garage. Insane. Haven't bought so much Gatorade in a while now. Both kids do drink wine/whiskey with me these days so I'm chill
The GOP has rolled back the Hippocratic oath as well... its now the hypocritic oath and all of DC have pledged to it
Just replying to @Doughty8 above in this thread... foo LOL Still seems warranted to call them hypocrites in ANY thread when you think about it
