Never seen so many gray beards on a roster as I have with the Red Sox. Domino's (if you like them) gives away medium pizzas on no nos. www.mlb.com/dominos

Does this mean Beckett gets to bang Alanna Rizzo?

read the rules that say we have to go on to the website the first business day following the no hitter at 12 PDT.

Another note: that was revenge for the phillies ruining HiKu's no-no bid a few years ago.

sorry but im late to the party guys. What has gone on be it the last few weeks or today (as u say) that we may have seen a turning point for hanram? he get injured? play horribly? or did the management say something along of the lines of they are walking away from negotiations? worried :sobbing:

He's injured. There was talk of the team and Hanley entering negotiations about a contract, where Hanley is reportedly asking for over 100 million for 6 years. But with this injury, Hanley may not get a big deal like he's hoping for, meaning he may leave for the Yankees next year. Although this still relies heavily on whether or not we have a good replacement for him.

Arru looked smooth defensively and he did get 2 hits today with his 1st RBI. Only speculating because I don't think Han Ram is going anywhere but Arru continues to hit and the Panda goes FA (been on fire lately). I want him back no doubt but really going to have to consider life without Hanley.

Don't look for Arru to continue hitting. Defense is his thing.

never would have guessed Beckett would be the Dodger pitcher to throw a no hitter this year.

    Nice reward.
Tis was the best thing ever....I had to leave in the sixth inning to meet someone, but couldn't take not seeing how it turned out. Had to find a bar quickly, and got lucky. They were watching Tampa in some sports bar, and the barkeep turned to another game that put on the 9th inning of LAD/Phillies game. Even the Yankee fans were cheering at he K....and couldn't happen to a nicer jerkoff than Utley. Yeah baby.
It was stupendous and a wonderful thing.
Congratualtions to Beckett and Dodger fans everywhere.
    Fuckin eh!!

2006 is when by chance I came to supporting the Dodgers from so far away geographically. I had come to the sad conclusion that this thing only ever happens to other teams. Right up until the last pitch I was 100% sure Rollins or Utley would bloop a single and ruin it. Just not used to these kind of things happening to us. Maybe this is a sign that the tides are turning for the organization? Who knows.

Anyway, back to moaning about something. When I turned on the ESPN home page first thing when I woke up it had "Beckett no-no through six" and another headline below it "Braun homer away from cycle." The cycle is honestly the most overrated accomplishment in baseball. A guy who hits two homers is more productive 80% of the time in a game than someone hitting for the cycle. A guy hits two homers, a single and a triple, but doesn't make the same headlines than if one of his homers was a double? It really fucking annoys me. Screw cycles.
