That's what I was most intrigued about. Endings to iconic shows can be too high a hurdle for a majority of shows. I'm not going bat shit over the ending but you cannot please everyone so you have to please yourself.
Only endings that were done right were The Wire and Breaking Bad. And The Wire season five wasn't even that good.
thought it would be nice to take the gf out for her birthday to downtown and walk around...big mistake first thing was not anticipating memorial day traffic second was the fact that downtown is just about over i've always loved the mix of people on the streets and never had anything bad happen all these years nothing bad happened today but i could see a major change in the way people looked at us tents everywhere and wandering drug addled wasted people everywhere they almost outnumbered the people walking around shopping salvaged the day by hitting Thai town and getting a great lunch holed up for the rest of the night in WH hope you all have a great Memorial day and remember those that gave all we are forever indebted to those great men and women that never got the chance to take off the uniform
We attend several events a year downtown (usually Kings' games). We take the 8th-9th St turnoff off the 110 south. In years past it's been a little trashy, just the usual big city shit. This year was totally different. A complete tent city, complete with the accompanying trash has sprung up.
back when i was bartending we used to go down to first street (near broadway) and eat at the after hours places daikokuya, mayflower, etc sometimes burrito king near ds on sunset but somewhere around 2005 it started to change more homeless peeps, tweakers, and other unsavory types was a time where i'd feel safe walking those streets at night with a girl but towards the end of the late 00's no way haven't lived in la for over a decade and, sadly, can only imagine how much it's deteriorated since then
I was down there last week and honestly I thought it was way better now than when I remember in the 90's. I had to go to south park and drove down to watts and had great food and a good time checking out all the life. The place is full of people everywhere and you can buy good stuff for cheap on the street like in third world countries. Pretty nice!
ah, where to begin?... first off... the dude should probably get an award for being the cleanest wendy's employee ever and props to the bkitch filming who reminds him to wash his pits and toes cleanliness is sometimes said to be next to godliness, so hygiene first and like she said... it's only a problem because old people are now on facebook wow ageist Wendy's employee fired after taking bubble bath in sink by Elise Solé | Yahoo Lifestyle — 24 May 2019 A Wendy’s employee was captured on video taking a bubble bath in the kitchen restaurant, a gag that got him fired. Posted on Snapchat and shared Tuesday on Facebook, a Wendy’s worker in Milton, Florida, wearing only a pair of shorts, lowered himself into an industrial sink, filled with soap. “Take a bath…get in there,” the woman filming says. “How does it feel?” “It’s warm,” the employee answers. “Turn the jets on.” He asks for a towel and the person filming commands, “Wash your armpits.” She hands him paper towels and he scrubs his armpits, chest and arms. “Let’s see those toes,” she says before stopping the video. A Wendy’s spokesperson tells Yahoo Lifestyle, “Our franchisee is taking this incident seriously and it is obviously totally unacceptable. This was a prank by a person who no longer works at this restaurant, and who clearly did not use good judgement.” Yahoo Lifestyle contacted the woman who filmed the bath and her coworker for comment. A Wendy’s employee wrote on Facebook, “He was off the clock and the ‘repulsive’ incident was two minutes long. People have done it before and the only reason it’s a problem now is because old people have access to Facebook.” The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s hotels and restaurants division investigated and posted its findings on Wednesday. Yahoo Lifestyle obtained a copy of the investigative report, which stated, “Discussed sanitation and safety requirements and the importance of active managerial control at time of the inspection with the facility manager.” The restaurant is presently open for business, although an employee at the Milton location wouldn’t comment when contacted by Yahoo Lifestyle. Haley Leach, the woman who posted the Facebook video writing, “I don’t suggest anyone eating at the Milton Wendy’s again” did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s inquiry. According to The Daytona Beach News-Journal, Leach wrote, “The actions in the video were appalling and I felt like the public had the right to know...”
