Then that means Toles is also headed to AAA so that we can keep room for ANYONE that's on the DL ??

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Adrian maintained his pace and finished the season with 0 HR's.

Overall, a lot of the stats are bullshit.

Years ago I met Magic Johnson after he was with the Lakers 5-6 years and he was HUGE. Tall enough to dip his head for 6'8" doorways but waaaaay broader than you might expect. Way. And yet his listed playing weight was 215 lbs?!?!? Nonsense. Utter horseshit. Maybe in college? Not even then. But it's a running game and so they don't want to list accurate weights. Unlike football.

I was at an In-N-Out eating a few years back when a local college team arrived and THEY look huge compared to normal people. Which prompted me to look at the latest NFL draft data
    Robinson 6'6" 322lbs
    Ramcyzk 6'6" 310lbs
    Sharpe 6'6" 343lbs
    Davenport 6'6" 318lbs
    Johnson 6'7" 297lbs
    Leamon 6'7" 332lbs
    Seaton 6'8" 325lbs
    Wheeler 6'7" 306lbs

Aaron Judge is simply a well fed country boy and they're just growing them bigger these days

I'm talking about physique, not just their listed heights and weights.
You're listing fat ass offensive lineman there, brodie.
Magic's listed playing weight right now is from his rookie year, there was a point a few years into his career when he was listed at 230lbs, at one point was listed at 250

Yeah I know and you were suggesting that Malone was smaller based upon erroneous data saying he was 250lbs. He wasn't 250 lbs or even close though I did not have first hand proof like I do with Magic.

And you are correct that later Magic was listed as high as 235 lbs but still he weighed waaaaaay more than that, which was the point.

I'm going to let you call NFL linemen "fat ass". Cuz' you can be a brave man on the internet. They totally bulk up simply to use that weight like a sumo. Particularly at the line positions. Fat ass? Not so much.

What they don't do is exagerate heights as much as in other sports. THE POINT was that there were 8 players listed, just for this year, who were ALL Aaron Judges stature or larger, even if they did bulk up for their sport.

I guess I'll step back and let you covet his "physique" then.. to each his own

Malone has been listed as high as 256, but fuck it, I'll give him 270.
That's still not 280, and he's a littler taller than Judge.
Look Judge is not fat, so listing fat offensive lineman just doesn't really bring home a point here is all I'm saying.
Physique was the main point of what we were talking about there, the way Judge and Peppers carry the 280-285lbs at 6'6" /6'7"
Judge looks like he's a 280lbs guy with a 38in waist, it's just crazy, like a supersized Earl Campbell.
As far as Magic goes, again, he was listed at as much as 250, brodie

When you eat lots of mom's meatloaf BMI stats become a "thing" so I'd say you're arguing with an expert.... :D

Get ready... the rumor going around is that Bellinger is probably getting sent to AAA today for Gutierrez. With 3 guys coming off the DL this week, 2 of them OF'ers and up against a LHP tonight, it is looking more and more likely that Belli will be the odd man out. Can't say I am thrilled about this decision as it is time for SVS to be on his way to OKC or DFAville. I'll be pretty annoyed if the kid is sent down, but I definitely understand why he will be. He has made some adjustments, but getting back to AAA and working on how to deal with the inside stuff will be incredibly important for him for when he comes back up in a couple months.
