Thanks for asking...yeah, it's pretty shitty, but somehow it's never as bad as the assholes predict. Then another time, they tell you a "dusting" is coming, or brief showers...and there's power outages and flooding. And terrible winds. Seems like old people are so compelled and overly affected/worried by weather...I remember my parents. They would cancel everything, even going to the movies ( back when people did that- before you're time, young brother), if the forecast was even just cloudy. It was always odd to me, my dad a combat vet and my mom going through the Blitz in WWII and all, but that was the deal, nevertheless. Now, I'm the age they were then, and I don't give a shite . Let it all come...blizzards, storms, volcanic eruption, plague of locusts, etc. Is any of it worse than being under the leadership of Doh Biden, really ?

Out here the latest weather fear mongering is called an atmospheric river. Used to be called heavy rainfall. Now we load animals on the arc two by two every time one is predicted.

Yeah. It's laughable...but it's certainly not old people alone. If there is a " snow storm coming" prediction, the Shop Rite ( (giant food and grocery markets here) are jammed and you can barely find a parking space. I went the other day (before the snows of Kilimanjaro were predicted) to get crazy glue, and it was a fucking madhouse. Another absolutely inexplicable fad going on now, probably only on the right coast, of course, is when it gets pretty cold, kids wear T shirts and shorts now. I'm talking in the 30's°...I thought it was only stupid kids, but I see more and more middle aged people doing it...like it's a mass hallucination. I don't know why, but my reaction is that I would like to smack them all in the mouth. I guess that says more about me than it does them. But at least I have a jacket on in January.
