    Not unbelievable at all. He was released in 2012. Pitched in the independent leagues. Had a horrible end to last season if memory serves me. Has had health issues at times. Anything but a sure thing.

    I still expected better considering he had decent numbers in the AL last year, but you're right....guy has been unpredictable his whole career. Kind of like two other pitchers we have that are on the DL.

    Well, at least I don't expect anything from Puig any more. I always did, based on his past...but he got to be so much of a milquetoast zero, it will just watching someone else make out? No biggie.
    Just one of the guys. No sense picking on him when he returns. It's what we are now.
    He is a great defender, though.
